Faculty of Engineering (LTH)

The Faculty of Engineering (LTH) at Lund University is renowned for its dynamic and impactful research initiatives. LTH’s research activities encompass a wide spectrum of engineering disciplines, fostering innovation and addressing pressing global challenges.

The scientific aspect of the conference will be overseen by the Division of Transport and Roads, Department of Technology and Society, Faculty of Engineering, LTH. This division comprises 28 full-time senior researchers and 18 PhD students. The research at the Division is comprehensive and covers topics such as road safety, particularly for vulnerable road users, urban transportation policy and practice, public transport planning, and transport economics.

Plenary session:

The plenary sessions at Palaestra et Odeum. This historic building, constructed in 1883, is situated at the old University Square, adjacent to the Main University Building (where the rector’s office is located) and AF Borgen (traditionally known for student activities). Palaestra et Odeum is renowned for its picturesque charm, expansive green spaces, and convenient proximity to the railway station and numerous hotels. It underwent a major renovation in 2007 and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
